Art Deco 2.68 Carat Old Cut & Baguette Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1940
A totally wild Art Deco diamond dress ring. This stunningly made ring features a 1.03 carat old European cut diamond in the centre of a daring, asymmetrical design. Set in a square collet, the centre stone sits on a “platform” of twelve baguette cut diamonds which rests on a sweeping wave of thirty eight-cut diamonds. At the one shoulder, the band spits – the other shoulder is reverse tapering and pavé set with a further twenty-three eight-cuts. A fabulous Art Deco original.
