Art Deco 2.74 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1930
An unbelievably beautiful vintage French engagement ring. The sensational old European cut diamond in the centre – graded by HRD Antwerp as J colour, SI2 clarity – displays incredible fire and brilliance. The stone is secured in a six claw collet with trefoil detailing in the gallery and unusual square cheniers under the diamonds set shoulders, leading to a slender knife edge platinum shank.
Accompanied by a Natural Diamond Grading Report from HRD Antwerp (#210000182383).
Cut – Old European cut (eight-cuts in the shoulders).
Colour – J (G to I in the shoulders).
Clarity – SI2. (SI1 to SI2 in the shoulders.) All the diamonds are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – 2.74 in the centre (an additional estimated 0.09 carat in the shoulders).
