Art Deco 2.90 Carat Fancy Yellow Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1930

There is absolutely nothing about this Art Deco solitaire which is subtle or understated. The 2.90 carat central diamond is a natural, unenhanced yellow with an incredible amount of life and sparkle. Mounted in a six-claw crown collet leading to bold graduating shoulders set with a total of 18 (nine either side) eight cut diamonds. All in platinum, this solitaire is pure extravagance.

Cut – Cushion shaped old mine / miner cut.

Colour – The centre stone is light fancy yellow. The diamonds in the setting are F/G.

Clarity – The centre stone is SI1 (but totally clean to the naked eye. The diamonds the setting range from VS2 to SI1.

Carat – The centre stone is estimated at 2.90 carat, with approximately 0.55 carat in the surround.

Circa – 1930.

Size – Currently H 1/2 (UK) or 4 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down. Please note that we would remove the sizing adjustor on the inside the were we to perform the alteration.

Measurements – The diamonds is 8.64mm by 8.75mm and sits 8.8mm from the finger.

Metal – Platinum. Stamped.
