Art Deco 21.57 Carat Ceylon Yellow Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1935
The most awesome natural yellow sapphire ring. The highly impressive yellow sapphire in the centre – certified as having no heat treatment originating from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) – displays a bright and glowing golden yellow hue. The stone sits in the centre of a wonderful ornate surround, with Greek style motifs and patterning, and a halo of twenty old cut diamonds at the outer border. The impressively intricate under-gallery leads to a fluted shank with fleur de lis shoulders. A jumbo sized ring that makes one heck of a statement.
