Art Deco 3.44 Carat Natural Sapphire & Diamond Ring, circa 1930
A divine Art Deco sapphire ring. The centre stone – certified as natural and unheated – displays a subtle colour change depending on what light it’s in: blue in daylight, purple in incandescent light. The sapphire is secured by eight 18k yellow gold claws. Eighteen eight-cut and transitional cut diamonds surround the sapphire is a wonderfully detailed setting, with slightly higher segments in the corners and fine milgraining throughout. The gorgeous hand-carved under-gallery leads to a slim platinum mount. Seriously impressive stuff.
