Art Deco 3.50 Carat Sapphire & Diamond Enamelled Ring, circa 1920
Fantastically unique. The natural and unheated deep blue sapphire in the centre is secured by eight double-claws. The eight pure white old European cut diamonds in the centre are interspersed with rays of black enamel, with further enamel work in the strikingly beautiful shoulders. A seriously pretty one-of-kind.
Cut – Oval mixed cut sapphire and old European cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G to F.
Clarity – All the stones are very clear; VS1
Carat – Approximately 3.50 carat in the centre, with an estimated total diamond weight of 0.40 carat.
Circa – 1920.
Condition – A half shank looks to have been added at some point in the rings life.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 18.7mm by 16.9mm and sits 8.4mm from the finger.
Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 14k gold. Tested.
