Art Deco 3.66 Carat Fancy Light Yellow Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
A huge – and hugely impressive – diamond solitaire. The central stone weighs in at hefty 3.66 carat and displays a distinct yellow hue. The irregularly shaped diamond, most likely cut and polished in the mid-Victorian era, is set a striking and geometric Art Deco setting. The hexagonal collet features triangular detailing in the gallery, leading to slim gold band set with ten eight-cut diamonds in each shoulder. An immense one-off.
