Art Deco 3.87 Carat Natural Cabochon Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1930
A fantastic and bold diamond and cabochon sapphire ring. The centre stone – certified as natural and with no heat treatment – is a glowing and mesmeric blue, captured beautifully in the high domed cabochon cut. Thirteen eight-cut diamonds set in platinum surround the centre stone, leading to an intricately hand pierced gallery, to a yellow gold shank topped with platinum shoulders. So striking.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Madagascan in origin.
