Art Deco 3.89 Carat Burmese Sapphire & Diamond Ring, circa 1920
A sublime Art Deco sapphire ring. The centre stone – certificated natural and unheated, and as originating from Myanmar (Burma) – displays a rich, deep and regal blue. The stone is rubover set in milgrained platinum with curving step-down shoulders set with eighteen (nine each side) eight cut diamonds. Beautiful, geometric detailing in the gallery leads to a slim, platinum shank. A true vintage treasure.
