Art Deco 3.94 Carat Natural Sugarloaf Sapphire Ring, circa 1920
A hypnotically beautiful natural, no-heat sugarloaf sapphire ring. The glowing centre stone bullet-shape (or sugarloaf) cabochon sapphire holds an almost magical glow; internally clean and impressively bright. The sapphire is secured in a four-claw collet with buckle shaped, diamond set shoulders above handmade scrolling cheniers, to D-shaped platinum shank.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and originates from Madagascar.
Cut – Sugarloaf sapphire and eight-cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The sapphire is eye clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 3.94 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.15 carat
Circa – 1920.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 7.63 x 7.51mm. The head of the ring is approximately 16.7mm in diameter. Sits 9mm from the finger.
