Art Deco 4.81 Carat Old Cushion Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, French, circa 1920

A highly beautiful and incredibly impressive old cut diamond engagement ring. The awesome centre stone weights in at a hefty 4.81 carat and utterly, utterly glows. The cushion shaped diamond is secured by four double claws within a open gallery, allowing maximum light to pass through the stone. Ten (five each side) old cut diamonds run down the shoulders of slim platinum shank.  Phenomenal.

Cut – Cushion shaped old cut diamond in the centre, with old cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Colour – L (G to H in the shoulders).

Clarity – SI2; the diamond is clean to the naked eye. (VS2 to SI2 in the shoulders.)

Carat – 4.81 (with an additional approximate 0.10 carat in shoulders).

Circa – 1920.

Measurements – The diamond is 10.30 x 10.27mm. Sits 7.7mm from the finger.
