Art Deco 5.00 Carat Emerald Cut Natural Burmese Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1920
Sometimes the most beautiful things are the simplest – as is certainly the case with this emerald cut sapphire ring. The centre stone – certified as natural, unheated and Burmese in origin – is a lively electric blue. The sapphire is set laterally on the finger in yellow gold, with rose gold embellishments on the shoulders, leading to a chunky yellow gold shank. A truly special ring.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.
