Art Deco 5.08 Carat Colombian Emerald & Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1935
A magnificent, magnificent Colombian emerald. The central stone – a deep, rich and glowing green – is claw set within a surround of sixteen old cut diamonds of graduating size set in a finely pierced platinum gallery. A high class, high spec ring that cannot fail to impress.
Accompanied by an Emerald Report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the emerald is Colombian and has only received moderate clarity enhancement.
Cut – Cushion cut emerald and old cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamonds are G.
Clarity – Some visible inclusions in the emerald (as is normal and expected for this stone). The diamonds are VS1 to SI1.
Carat – The emerald is a known 5.08 carat. The total estimated diamond weight 1.28 carat
Circa – 1935.
Measurements – The emerald is 12.2 x 11.3mm. The head of the ring is 21.2 x 17.2mm and sits 6.4mm from the finger.
Size – J 1/2 (UK) or 5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k gold. The diamonds are set in platinum. Tested.
