Art Deco 5.14 Carat Cabochon Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1925
An excitingly different take on the traditional solitaire ring. A rich, deep blue sapphire is at the centre of the ring, secured by four claws in platinum collet, with subtle Deco detailing in the gallery. The platinum, spear-shaped shoulders are set with six (three each side) old cut diamonds of graduating size, leading to a slim, 18k yellow gold shank.

Cut – Round cabochon sapphire and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to K.
Clarity – The sapphire is VS. The diamonds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 5.14 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.16 carat.
Circa – 1925.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 10.3mm in diameter and sits 9.4mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 18CT & PLAT – 18k gold and platinum – and tests as such.
