Art Deco 5.69 Carat Colombian Cabochon Emerald Ring, circa 1930
A heart-stoppingly beautiful Colombian cabochon emerald. The round, high-domed centre stone has an almost other worldly glow, and is certified as receiving only moderate oiling. The emerald is secured by four split claws with delightful skirt detailing in the gallery, to a slim platinum shank set with eight (four either side) old cut diamonds.
Accompanied by an Emerald Report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the emerald is Colombian and has only received moderate clarity enhancement.
Cut – Cabochon emerald and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to J
Clarity – Some visible inclusions in the emerald (as is normal and expected for this gemstone). The diamonds are SI1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The emerald is a known 5.69 carat. The total estimated diamond weight 0.12 carat

Measurements – The emerald is 10.1 x 10.4mm and sits 8.4mm from the finger.
