Art Deco 5.76 Carat Natural Ceylon Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1925

Supremely beautifully. The gorgeous and glowing natural Ceylon sapphire is the perfect cornflower blue with bright flashes of indigo. Rubover and milgrain set, the sapphire is surrounded by twelve high white old European cut diamonds atop simple, pared back “U” gallery. The slim shank splits at the shoulders with an additional diamond nestled within.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.

Cut – Cushion cut sapphire and old European cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G.

Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS2 to SI1 (all clean to the eye).

Carat – The sapphire is 5.76 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.86 carat.

Circa – 1925.

Size – P (UK) or 7.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is 9.2 x 8.2mm. The head of the ring is 18.4 x 16.3mm and sits 8.8mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold (stamped) and platinum (tested).
