Art Deco 6.50 Carat Oval Cut Aquamarine Solitaire Ring, circa 1935

Utterly marvellous. The cool, icy blue aquamarine is an unusual elongated oval cut which is rubover set in white gold. A simple split gallery leads to nice and chunky D-shaped shank featuring four (two either side) old cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Cut – Oval cut aquamarine and old cut diamonds.

Colour – Diamonds are G.

Clarity – All the stones are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The aquamarine is approximately 6.50 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.28 carat.

Circa – 1935.

Condition – Some abrasion to the bottom (the hull) of the aquamarine.

Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 17.5 x 9.8mm and sits 6.2mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold. Stamped.
