Art Deco 7.00 Carat Emerald Cut Amethyst Pendant, circa 1930

A beautiful and striking pendant featuring a rich, deep amethyst. This dramatic stone is secured by three sets of double claws and, at the top, a finely pierced and milgrained panel set with two old cut diamonds.

Cut – Emerald cut amethyst and old cut diamonds.

Colour – Diamonds are G.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS1. The amethyst is SI2; there are some visible inclusions if examined closely.

Carat – The amethyst is approximately 7.00 carat. The total estimated diamond weight is 0.05 carat.

Circa – 1930.

Measurements – The pendant, not including the hoop at the top is 24.6mm by 11.8mm.

Metal – 18k gold. Tested. The gold chain is hallmarked.
