The large and impressive high-domed cabochon opal shows a delightful play of reds, greens and yellow. The centre is rubover set in yellow gold and surrounded by thirty-six rose cut diamonds in platinum cut-away settings. The fine and intricately hand-sawn gallery leads to a sturdy court-shaped shank.
