Art Deco Citrine, Sapphire & Pearl Necklace, circa 1930
A majestic and serious necklace set with sixteen rich, honey yellow rubover set citrines, linked by lines of alternating blue sapphires and fresh water pearls. This statement piece manages to be bold and delicate at the same time. Unique and stunning.
Cut – Round cut citrines and smooth polished sapphire “beads”.
Carat – Each citrine is 7.5 carats, so a total of 120 carat.
Circa – 1930.
Condition – Some citrines have small chips which are difficult to notice, but worth pointing out. To be expected in a necklace this old.
Measurements – 46cm (18 inches) long. Each citrine is 14mm in diameter.
Weight – 73.1 grams
Metal – 18k yellow gold. Tested.
