Art Deco Diamond & Calibré Cut Sapphire Ring, circa 1940
So, so lovely. This extraordinary ring features a high white and bright old cut diamond in the centre. The centre diamond sits in the middle of three rows of rose cut diamonds, all framed by calibré cut sapphires in a hexagonal shaped lozenge. The wonderfully detailed under-gallery leads to a slim band.
Cut – The centre is an old cut diamond with rose cut diamonds in the surround calibré sapphires.
Colour – The diamonds are G.
Clarity – VS2.
Carat – The centre stone is approximately 0.20 carat with a further estimated 0.18 carat of rose cut diamonds. The total estimated sapphire weight is 1.00 carat.
Circa – 1940.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 15.6 x 12mm. Sits 6.25mm from the finger.
Size – J (UK) or 4 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
