Art Deco Diamond & Sapphire Five Stone Ring, circa 1920
A delightful Art Deco diamond and sapphire ring. With an old mine cut diamonds in the centre, flanked by a pair of natural sapphires and then a pair of rose cut diamonds at the ends. Each stone is in its own milgrained, platinum box settings, leading to a slender 18k yellow gold shank. Very, very pretty.
Cut – The middle diamond is an old mine cut, the outer diamonds are rose cuts. The sapphires are old round cuts.
Colour – The diamonds are I to J.
Clarity – The diamonds are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – The centre diamond is approximately 0.10 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.14 carat. A total approximate sapphire weight of 0.08 carat
Circa – 1920.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – From the edge of one outer diamond to the other is 14.9mm. The ring is 4.1mm at the widest point and sits 2.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested. (The inside of of the band is stamped 18CT GOLD.)
