Art Deco Natural Pearl & 1.14 Carat Old Cut Diamond Pendant, circa 1925
A sumptuous and elegant natural pearl and old cut diamond pendant. The pendant is topped by a rubover- and milgrain-set bright white old European cut diamond, linked to a smaller rubover-set old mine cut. A long, tear shaped linking bar (itself set with three old cut diamonds of graduating sizes) connects to a further three rubover-set old cut diamonds to a natural saltwater pearl.
Cut – The top diamond in an old European cut; the remaining diamonds are old mine cuts.
Colour – The top diamond is H. The diamonds in the rest of the drop are K to M.
Clarity – The top diamond is SI2. The remaining diamonds are VS2 to SI1. All the stones are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The top diamond is approximately 0.56 carat, with a total approximate carat weight of 1.14.
Circa – 1925.
Measurements – From the top of the top diamond to the bottom of the pearl is approximately 42mm. The chain is 18 inches (can be shortened if you prefer).
Metal – The pendant is 18k yellow gold and platinum. The chain is 18k white gold. Tested.
