Art Deco Natural Pearl & Diamond Solitaire Ring, circa 1915
An immensely impressive Art Deco pearl solitaire ring. The large pearl in the centre – certified as natural (not cultured) is, at approximately 1cm in diameter, a serious statement of a gem. A pair of high white and internally clean (and unusual) bullet cut diamonds are rubover set in the shoulders, leading to a slender platinum shank. A top class piece of jewellery.
Accompanied by a pearl report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the pearl is natural, saltwater.
Cut – Bullet cuts (modified baguette cuts).
Colour – The diamonds are G to H.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The diamonds are approximately 0.15 carat each.
Circa – 1915.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The pearl is approximately 9.9 x 10mm and sits 9.6mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
