Art Deco Natural Pearl, Natural Sapphire & Rose Cut Diamond Foliate Brooch, circa 1930
Crafted in 18k yellow and white gold and set with seven natural sky blue sapphires, thirty-one rose cut diamonds and seventy-three natural saltwater pearls – depicting a blossoming foliate design. The yellow gold branches are bound together with a white gold, diamond-set bow. A stunning brooch, made with the finest of gems.
Accompanied by a report from the Instituto Gemmologico Nazionale (Rome, Italy) stating the pearls are natural, saltwater.
Cut – Oval cut sapphires and rose cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G.
Clarity – All the gems are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – A total estimated sapphire weight of 6.00 carat, with approximately 0.31 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1930.
Measurements – The pearls range from between 2.8 to 4.4mm in diameter. The oval dimensions of the brooch is 67.5 x 55.3mm.
Metal – 18k yellow and white gold. Tested.
