Art Deco Natural Ruby & Old Cut Diamond Trilogy Crossover Ring, circa 1940
Taking centre stage in this sublime three stone ring is a natural, unheated ruby which displays a rich, violet-ish red. Two white and bright old cut diamonds flank the centre, with all three gems set in eight claw coronet collets within an elegantly sweeping crossover band.
Accompanied by a ruby report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the ruby shows no evidence of heat treatment.
Cut – Oval mixed cut ruby with old mine cut diamonds either side and eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – The diamonds are I to J.
Clarity – The ruby is SI. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The ruby is approximately 0.70 carat. Each of the main diamonds is approximately 0.50 carat with an additional (approx.) 0.08 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1940.
Size –H 1/2 (UK) or 4 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – From the edge of one outer diamond to the other is 16.6mm. Sits 5.9mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white and yellow gold. Tested.
