Art Deco Natural Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Five Stone Ring, circa 1920
Fabulous. This wonderfully quirky five stone ring features three natural and unheated sapphires alternating with a pair of bright and lively cushion shaped old cut diamonds. Each stone is rubover set and nestles between two fluted bands of platinum. A wonderfully substantial piece.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphires show no indication of heating, and are of basaltic origin.
Cut – Cushion cuts.
Colour – The diamonds are I to J.
Clarity – The sapphires are clean to the naked eye. The diamonds are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – The sapphires are approximately 1.00, 1.20 and 1.00 carat respectively. Each of the diamonds is approximately 1.25.
Circa – 1920.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The band is 3.5mm at the base graduating to 11.4mm at the widest point. Sits 4.9mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
