A wonderfully pretty vintage opal and diamond ring. The black opal doublet is rubover set in milgrained platinum in a closed backed setting, and is surround by twelve old mine cut diamonds, with four slightly larger old cuts at each corner. Lovely detailing in the under gallery leads to spear-shaped shoulders to a slim, D-shaped yellow gold shank.
Cut – Square cut opal and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The diamonds are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – The total approximate diamond weight is 0.68 carat.
Size –M (UK) or 6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The opal is approximately 10.8 x 7.75mm. The head of the ring is 13.6 x 17.1mm and sits 5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Stamped and tested.
