Art Deco Opal & Old Cut Diamond Pendant / Necklace, White Gold, circa 1930

An amazing opal with a fabulously lively play of colours, the most dominant of which is a fiery orange. Above the opal is a high white, very clear and sparkly diamond, providing contrast to the opaque stone below. A fixed bar links the stones to the chain; a simple and effective design which showcases these extremely high quality gems.

Cut – Oval shaped cabochon opal and an old mine cut diamond.

Carat – Diamond is 0.20 carat. Opal is approximately 3.00 carat

Circa – 1930.

Measurements – The opal measures 8.5mm by 15mm. The pendant, including the bar, is 34.8mm long. The chain is 16″.

Metal – Chain is 9k (marked). The pendant is 18k (tested).
