Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond Trilogy Ring, circa 1935
Desperately pretty. The square step cut sapphire in the centre is a glowing azure blue and is set in a square platinum collet with round eight-cut diamonds flanking the centre stone. Shaped, diamond cut shoulders lead to a D-shaped yellow gold shank.
Cut – Square step cut sapphire and eight-cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS1. The sapphire is clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 0.25 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.04 carat.
Circa – 1935.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 3.5 x 3.5mm. Sits 4.1mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 18CT PLAT – 18k yellow gold and platinum – and tests as such.
