An astonishingly beautiful antique sapphire and diamond pendant. The rich, royal blue sapphire in the centre is flanked by a pair of long, rectangular cushion shaped old mine cut diamonds. Above and below this central section is incredibly intricate and ornate detailing in platinum, set with a further forty-four old cut diamonds. The pendant hangs from a diamond set ‘V’ shaped bale.

Cut – Round sapphire with long cushion shaped old mine cut diamonds either side and round old cuts in the surround.
Colour – The diamonds are F to H.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 1.00 carat. The diamond weight is conservatively estimated at 0.86 carat.
Circa – 1920.
Measurements – Including the bale, the pendant is approximately 31 x 18.4mm.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
