Art Deco Sapphire & Pearl Bar Brooch, circa 1920

An outstanding bar brooch, set with five milgrain rubover set natural blue sapphires and six natural seed pearls. The gems run along the centre of the piece, backed by three parallel platinum lines, encased in a slightly thicker platinum border. Secured with a C-clasp and safety chain.

Cut– Old cut round sapphires.

Clarity – The sapphires are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – An estimated total sapphire weight  of 0.80 carat

Circa – 1920.

Condition – A small dent to the metal, which can be seen from the photos.

Measurements – 55mm long. The central cluster is 6.2mm wide.

Metal – 15k gold (stamped) and platinum (tested).
