Art Nouveau 0.35 Carat Old Cut Diamond Ring, French, circa 1925
Achingly pretty. The cushion shaped old mine cut that takes centre stage here is white, bright and internally clean. But what really sets this beauty apart is elegant, sweeping shape of the shank, like interweaving vines. The ring is topped in platinum and set with six rose cut diamonds of graduating sizes.
Cut – Old mine cut with rose cuts in the shank.
Colour – H to I.
Clarity – The centre is VS2. The rose cuts are VS2 to SI1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre is approximately 0.35 carat, with approximate 0.10 carat of rose cuts.
Circa – 1925.
Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The main diamond is approximately 4.3 x 3.9mm. The ring is 10.4mm at the widest point and sits 5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
