Art Nouveau 1.97 Carat Demantoid Garnet Solitaire Ring, circa 1905
A glorious ring. The demantoid garnet in the centre displays a hyper-charged bright electric green and is secured in a four claw open collet. The high shoulders feature two bands of finely engraved white gold, each set with a small eight-cut diamonds, leading to a sharply tapering rose gold shank. Likely of Russian origin, the is a truly special and unique piece.

Cut – Cushion cut garnet (with eight-cut diamonds).
Colour – Diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The garnet is eye-clean. (The diamonds are SI1 to SI2).
Carat – The garnet is 1.97 carat (with approximately 0.03 carat of diamonds).
Circa – 1905.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The garnet is 6.75 x 7.5mm. Sits 5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k rose gold, with 18k white gold shoulder accents. Tested.
