Art Nouveau Opal & Diamond Ring, dated 1901
A lovely Art Nouveau opal and diamond ring, The trio of opals are inter-set with two pairs of old cut diamond spacers. Elegant asymmetrical detailing in the gallery leads to a satisfyingly chunky D-shaped band. With clear hallmarks indicating the Chester Assay, 1901.
Cut – Cabochon opal with old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G.
Clarity – The diamonds are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – A total approximate opal weight of 0.20 carat, with approximately 0.08 carat of diamonds.
Dated – 1901.
Measurements – From one outer opal to the other is 10.8mm. The ring is 7.4mm at the widest point and sits 2.3mm from the finger.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. Hallmarked.
