Art Nouveau Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Bar Brooch, circa 1890

Breathtaking. This utterly beautiful pin brooch features a cool blue natural sapphire surrounded by a cluster of eight old cut diamonds. A further eighteen old cuts are set within the stylised fleur di lis’ and the rubover set “floating” diamonds. So, so beautiful.

Cut – Oval mixed cut sapphire and old cut diamonds.

Colour– Diamonds are J to K.

Clarity – The diamonds range from VS1 to VS2. The sapphire is SI2.

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 0.75 carat, with an estimated 2.10 carat of diamonds.

Circa – 1890.

Measurements – The brooch is 47mm by 13mm

Metal – Silver backed in 15k gold. Tested.
