Avant Garde 2.98 Carat Cabochon & Marquise Cut Emerald Ring, circa 1970

A daring and dazzling ring. This wonderfully bold emerald cluster ring features a large, round cabochon on emerald in the centre, with a spray of eight marquise cut emeralds of varying sizes in the surround, all of the same rich, vibrant green. The high, wired gallery leads to a slim 18k yellow gold shank with white, fluted detailing at the shoulders.

Cut – Round cabochon in the centre, with marquise cuts in the surround.

Clarity – Some visible inclusions (as is normal and expected for emeralds).

Carat – The centre emerald is approximately 1.83 carat, with a total approximate carat weight of 2.98.

Circa – 1970.

Measurements – The cluster is 21 x 15.8mm. Sits 10.5mm from the finger.

Size – P (UK) or 7.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
