Avant Garde 5.77 Carat Yellow Sapphire & 1.20 Carat Emerald Ring, circa 1970

This is superbly crazy! The natural and unheated yellow sapphire sits besides an emerald cut emerald of the ideal blue-green. This wonderfully risky ring features two high quality gems of different cuts, different colours, different sizes – and yet, together, it works perfectly.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire and octagonal step cut (emerald cut) emerald.

Clarity – All the stones are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 5.77 carat, the emerald is approximately 1.20 carat.

Circa – 1970.

Size – I 1/2 (UK) or 4.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The overall length of the ring (along the finger) is 16.5mm

Metal – Stamped 750 – 18k gold – and tests as such.
