BOUCHERON 18k Gold & Ruby Cigarette Holder, circa 1950

This glamourous mid century cigarette holder is decorated with a pierced engraved scene of birds, butterflies, floral and foliate motifs, and set with two cabochon rubies. The original ebony mouthpeice was replaced with an ivory version. Because we discovered this in an Asprey box, we believe this work was carried out by Asprey.

The peice is signed Boucheron Paris and numberd, with full makers and French assay marks.

Measures 108mm extended and 81mm closed.

The tooled leather Asprey box is included.
