Early 20th Century 1.22 Carat Ruby & 1.38 Carat Old Cut Diamond Trilogy Ring, circa 1925

So beautiful. The natural and unheated ruby in the centre is bright and internally clean, giving it an almost hypnotic glow. The two diamonds either side (of a combined weight of 1.38 carat) are white and full of sparkle; worthy companions to the quality centre stone. All the gems are secured in platinum claws, leading to a wonderfully intricately scrolling yellow gold carved gallery, to substantial D-shaped shank.

Cut – Oval cut ruby and old mine cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are H and I respectively.

Clarity – The ruby is clean to the naked eye. The diamonds are VS2 and SI1 respectively.

Carat – The ruby is a known 1.22 carat, with a total diamond weight of 1.38 carat.

Circa – 1925.

Measurements – From the outer edge of one diamond to the other is 16.5mm. The ring is 7.7mm at the widest point and sits 4.6mm from the finger.

Size – O (UK) or 7 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – The ring is in 18k yellow gold – tested. The gems are held in platinum – stamped PLAT.
