Early 20th Century Natural Pearl & Diamond Platinum Necklace, French, circa 1915

A truly special antique French necklace. This stunner, crafted entirely in platinum, features threes intricately pierced and milgrained panels each set with ten rose cut diamonds and two natural seed pearls and a further (larger) articulated natural pearl drop. Four rubover set old cut diamond “targets” are set between the panels, with pearl-set platinum chains hanging beneath. On a handmade chain with fine and unique platinum links.

Cut – The diamonds are rose cuts and old mine cuts.

Colour – G to H.

Clarity – VS2 to SI2; all the stones are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – A total approximate diamond weight of 0.50 carat.

Circa – 1915.

Measurements – 16.5 inches / 42 centimetres.
