Edwardian 0.63 Carat Old Cut Diamond Pin Brooch, circa 1910
An achingly pretty Edwardian diamond pin. The old European cut diamond in the centre is rubover and milgrain set in platinum, and is framed by diamond set trefoil detailing to a plain, platinum topped pin. Divine.
Cut – Old European cut in the centre, with old mine cuts in the sides.
Colour – H to I.
Clarity –VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The centre stone is approximately 0.45 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.63 carat.
Circa – 1910.
Measurements – 62.25mm long. The brooch is 5.5mm at the widest point.
Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
