Edwardian 0.99 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1905
A magnificent antique diamond engagement ring. The old cut diamond in the centre – graded by HRD as K colour, VVS2 clarity – is glowingly bright and lively. The centre stone is secured in a simple platinum eight claw coronet collet that sits nice and low to the finger, with eight (four each side) chunky old mine cut diamonds set in platinum shoulders leading to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.
Accompanied a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#180000077631).
Cut – Old mine cuts.
Colour – K in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are H to I.
Clarity – VVS2 in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – 0.99 carat in the centre, with an additional approximate 0.56 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1905.
Measurements – The diamond is 6.03 x 6.26mm. Sits 4mm from the finger .
Size – O (UK) or 7 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. The diamonds are in platinum. Tested.
