Edwardian 1.13 Carat Sapphire & Diamond Ring, dated 1912
An impressive antique sapphire and diamond carved ring. The trio of old cut sapphires – each displaying a deep and bright greenish blue – are interset with two sets of double diamond spacers. The ornate and intricately carved gallery leads to a slender D-shaped shank.
Fully hallmarks from the Birmingham Assay, dated 1912.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report by IGR (#30309928).
Cut – Round cut sapphires and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to J.
Clarity – The sapphire are clean to the naked eye. The diamonds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The total approximate sapphire weight is 1.13 carat, with approximately 0.16 carat of diamonds.
Dated – 1912.
Size – R (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down. There is a some limit to how much this can be altered, so please contact us before ordering.
Measurements – From the edge of one outer sapphire to the other is 17mm. The ring is 5.6mm at the widest point and sits 3.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Fully hallmarked.
