Edwardian 1.42 Carat Colombian Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1910
An absolutely phenomenal antique emerald ring. The emerald cut emerald in the centre – certified as showing evidence of only moderate clarity enhancement and originating from Colombia – is a glowing, rich green. The stone sits within a surround of eighteen white and bright eight-cut diamonds in rubover settings. The semi-closed button backed head of the ring features “U” shaped detailing in the gallery, leading to a slim D-shaped shank which splits three ways at the shoulders. A truly awesome piece.
Accompanied by an emerald report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the emerald shows evidence of moderate clarity enhancement, and is Colombian in origin.
