Edwardian 2.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond Crossover Ring, circa 1910
An impressive two stone crossover ring. Each of the cushion shaped old cut diamonds are secured in open-backed eight-claw crown collets, and set diagonally to a tapering shank in a crossover / bypass form. A beautifully detailed ring, elegantly crafted in platinum.
Cut – The two main stones are cushion shaped old mine / miner cuts, with eight-cut diamonds in the shank.
Colour – I & J.
Clarity – VS2 & SI2.
Carat – 1.05 carat & 0.95 carat. A further estimated 0.10 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1910.
Size – R 1/2 (UK) or 8 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The diamonds are approximately 6mm by 5.7mm and 5.6mm by 5.5mm. Sits 6.5mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Stamped and tested.
