Edwardian 2.25 Carat Purple Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1905
Simply gorgeous. The glowing purple sapphire is rubover set in silver, and surrounded by sixteen square and cushion shaped old cut diamonds in cut-away settings. The head of the ring sits nice and low to the finger, and sits on a slim shank that splits on the shoulders.
Cut – Oval cut sapphire and old cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G to H.
Clarity – The sapphire is SI2. The diamonds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The sapphire approximately 2.25 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.04 carat.
Circa – 1905.
Size – O (UK) or 7 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 15.8 x 12.2mm and sits 4.7mm from the finger.
Metal – The head of the ring is silver, the band is 18k yellow gold. Tested.
