Edwardian 2.76 Carat Old Cut Diamond Target Cluster Ring, circa 1910
A very, very special ring indeed. The central diamond – weighing a known 1.02 carat – is rubover and milgrain set, and surrounded by 17 small old cut diamonds. This central cluster “floats” within a halo of 14 larger old cut diamonds. All the stone are in platinum atop an intricately carved closed gallery, leading to a fine 18k yellow gold band. Breathtaking.
Cut – Old mine / miner cuts
Colour – F to G.
Clarity – The outer diamonds are VS1 to SI1. The centre diamonds is SI2. All the stones are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre diamond is a known 1.02 carat. The total estimated weight of the remaining diamonds is 1.74 carat.
Circa – 1910.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 16.8mm in diameter and sits 6.4mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
