Edwardian 3.17 Carat Cabochon Ruby & Rose Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1910
Just the prettiest vintage ruby ring. The high-domed cabochon ruby is a bright pinkish red and positively glows as if lit from within. Sixteen rose cut diamonds set in platinum surround the centre stone, above a gallery with lovely sweeping detailing. The flamboyant fleur de lis shoulders are set with a rose cut diamond in the central platinum panel with sweeping wired leaves either side, leading to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30309161).
