Edwardian 4.00 Carat Cabochon Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1905

Dramatic and beautiful. The natural and unheated high-domed cabochon sapphire is a royal blue, the depth in colour of which is emphasised by fourteen white and lively old cut diamonds set in platinum. Pretty heart detailing in the gallery leads to a slim rose gold shank. A delight.

Cut – Cabochon sapphire and old mine cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are H to I.

Clarity – The sapphire is clean to the naked eye. The diamonds are SI1 to I1; all are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 4.00 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.70 carat.

Circa – 1905.

Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 16.1 x 13.3mm. Sits 7.8mm from the finger.

Metal – The diamonds are set in platinum with the rest of the gold is 18k rose gold. Tested.
